The Center of Disease Control reports in 2013, over 2,000 teens were killed and 243,000 were treated in the ER due to car crashes. That means six teens (ages 16–19) died every day from car crashes! The total costs of car injuries is over $60 billion. Google says driverless cars would eliminate most of that, and save four billion hours wasted in traffic in America alone... and save 2.4 billion gallons of gasoline. We, the undersigned, request the federal government take actions to speed the adoption of these driverless cars.
