I am a frustrated US CITIZEN who obeys the law and pay my taxes. Now Filing to Immigrate my Wife(My immediate relative) to the us is taking forever. Meanwhile all of my friends and other colleagues who have filed after me at the Vermont service center got their petitions approved mine is still in initial review. Calling the NCSC is a waste of time as they provide no information. Once I spoke to an immigration officer, who was very nasty and rude to me. If I can't immigrate my wife to the US on a timely manner, and my government agency is treating me this badly, just on an inquiery, I might as well move to another country where my citizenship is better protected and my government and the officials are more sensitive to my needs. What can I do to bring her in to relive my pain???
