Currently US citizens filing on behalf of a foreign fiance/spouse are waiting 7-9 months (sometimes longer) for their petitions to get approved. In the past this step in the K-1/K-3 Fiance visa process only took 3-4 months (sometimes less!). If more people need to be hired for the large case loads in the Vermont and California service centers then please do so. Its unfair to make people wait so long or to make this process so confusing and stressful.
