Dear the People of the United States of America,
Each year the United States spends billions of dollars on foreign aid while we can't even help those in need in our own countries. The is still an unemployment rate for veterans of 6.3%, and that does not include those who have stopped searching for a job. The homeless live all around us, on city corners and under bridges, living proof that we are unable to help out our fellow Americans while we ship amunition and death to other countries under the false sense that we are 'helping.' We need to cut our yearly spending on foreign aid so that we can help ourselves first. If a country is unable to help itself, it will surely fail. Thank you for your time and consideration regarding this important matter.
