Sponsor a bill in Congress to require all members of the House and Senate to get their health care from the VA.

Time and again, Congress has claimed it will fix the VA while the issue is hot, and then waited until the issue dies down to slash funding for services for vets. There is only one way to make absolutely sure Congress fixes health care for America's vets: Sponsor legislation (and expend political capital to get it passed) to TAKE AWAY CONGRESS' GOLD-PLATED HEATH PLAN, AND REQUIRE THEM TO GET THEIR HEALTH CARE FROM VA FACILITIES IN THEIR HOME DISTRICT. If the VA is good enough for our honored vets, why not also for our lawmakers who fervently claim to have our vets' interest so close to heart? PUT UP OR SHUT UP CONGRESS: GET YOU HEALTH CARE FROM THE VA. The day after such a bill is enacted into law, fixing the VA, a task neglected for decades, will finally become a top priority for Congress.
