As our state and federal representatives have brought to the US citizens attention, the US has a homeless veterans epidemic. Reports for the numbers range from 30,000-50,000 currently affected. There is no reason our brave men and women who have sacrificed so much for our country should be left out on the streets. This petition is a call to action to our national representatives to put politics aside and do the only right thing. Create active programs to identify and house our veterans, and conduct studies to identify and eliminate what is impeding our veterans from rejoining the active work force.
