Sponsor HR1150 PAMTA, ban the wholesale (preventive) use of Antibiotics in farm Animals causing super germs

Created by R.B. on May 29, 2013

Farm Animals, because of in-humane conditions are given preventive antibiotics in order to prevent diseases that could spread rapidly because of the close quarters there kept in. However, the in-humane treatment of these is not the real pressing issue the real pressing issue is that administering these antibiotics wholesale is breeding germs resistant to most antibiotics. This overuse of antibiotics, threatens the health and safety of everyone.
The future generations, our children and childrens's children are going to be living in a world where a simple cut will be able to kill you, like in the middle ages.
The time has come to stop this overuse before our children will have to fear the smallest cut. The time to act is now.
