Spread Puerto Rican Culture Throughout America In The Event Of Statehood.

Opponents to Puerto Rican statehood have expressed that if Puerto Rico was to become a state it would lose its cultural Identity.To prevent this we request, if statehood is ever granted, for the US to take serious steps to spread Puerto Rican Culture throughout all other states. Puerto Rican art, literature, food, clothing, holidays, music and entertainment are to be promoted everywhere. Puerto Rican history will also be taught in all schools. This would give the people of Puerto Rico, as a newly added state, to share their wonderful traditions, history and what they’ve contributed in the arts.This would also help build common ground between our people, persevere Puerto Rican culture, and add more to Americas growing melting pot.
