Springfield Massachusetts Police Department and Springfield Police Academy Recruit Officer Swacey Ann Osbourne

This petition is about a 28 year old Black female who is a single mother in Springfield Massachusetts. Swacey is currently enrolled in Holyoke Community College where she has been working on her Criminal Justice degree, She made the deans list last semester she is also a member of the Massachusetts Army National Guard. This single mother who seemingly has her plate full also has another agenda On May 4,2015 I started my journey to be a Police Officer in Springfield Massachusetts, with all that was going on in the country I wanted to make a difference. I went through 21 weeks of the 23 week training course. It included early mornings, late nights, rigorous trainings, studying, I was tased, pepper sprayed etc, today I petition for another chance to make a difference in law enforcement
