SSI Benefits Distribution Reform

Created by C.W. on December 05, 2012

A SSI Beneficiary is limited to the amount of money they can earn. Earned income cannot be more than 100 % of the awarded benefit. Any money earn over the benefit become a debt owed to SSI and results in a discontinuation of the benefit till an adjustment agreement has been established. Essentially the beneficiary is penalized for earning a profit.

The profit is treated as a credit card balance which must paid back to the government. The credit balanced reduces the beneficiary's monthly check. This results in the beneficiary experiencing hardships like loosing their living quarter and not being able to feed themselves or function.

Taxpayers TARP funds enable banks to make profit.SSI Beneficiaries should not be penalize for living above poverty through work!
