SSI benefits should stay the same and not be decreased or discontinued even though the recipient has a desire to marry someone who does not already have SSI SSI benefits are said to either be cut off or decrease if the person is marrying somebody else that does not have SSI. yet if both persons are on ssi then it get increased. This is wrong. The government is tring to control those of us that receive ssi benefits.
