The staff and teachers at Shady Hook deserve to receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Through their efforts they saved many lives of children and other staff members. The six staff members who gave the ultimate sacrifice of themselves to protect the students in their charge deserve to receive the medal posthumously. While the surviving staff members need to be recognized to for their courageous actions.
