The government of Russia has recently instituted laws that make LGBT people and things Illegal. If you even so much as appear to be gay or promoting a gay lifestyle or tolerance thereof, you can be arrested, imprisoned, and fined even if you're a citizen of another country who is just visiting! This BLATANT disregard for human rights MUST NOT be tolerated! We urge President Barack Obama and our government to stand up against these extremely discriminatory laws! LGBT Russian citizens and those that choose to travel there must feel safe to live their lives with prosecution. If Russia doesn't rescind these laws, we urge the government to implement sanctions against them and even boycott the Olympics taking place there! We MUST send them a message that this WILL NOT be tolerated!
