The Constitution already provides protection from Islamic law. This Bill clearly has nothing to do with the protection of the citizens of North Carolina and is clearly another example of the lawmakers acting in direct defiance of the wishes of those who elected them. This Bill in unconstitutional and it is a true tragedy that it has already made it to this stage. It must be stopped immediately if we wish to preserve any type of civil liberties in North Carolina.
