Stand against wrongful and ignorant opposition to the research, production, and distribution of GMO's

We are petitioning for the education of congress on the prospects of genetically modified organisms and genetic engineering as a whole. Many people are uneducated or misinformed about the science behind GMO's (genetically modified organisms). Therefore, we must eradicate such ignorance and replace it with knowledge vital to a true understanding of the biological principles and scientific principles involved in creation of such organisms. Furthermore, we challenge the government to stress the nearly unlimited potential of such science in combating world hunger and to accentuate the importance of presenting viable scientific arguments against genetic engineering as opposed to the current opposition that is riddled with religious and illogical arguments.
