President Obama should have taken personal responsibility for the development, testing, and roll-out of healthcare.gov. It was to be his signature achievement. He failed. The failure is not absolute, nor does it mean the death of the ACA. I also believe in the responsibility of every American to take responsibility for having decent health insurance in order to reduce the financial impact on the rest of society. However, he should stand up and apologize to the nation for his lack of oversight of this. Though they did stand on the backs of others who laid the foundation for a working website, the developers of http://www.thehealthsherpa.com created a functional and user friendly website in a matter of days. Our President should have done more due diligence, and owes us an apology.
