stand up for the citizens

We the people are tired of paying the salaries of members of the gov't who have a vested interest in protecting big corporations. We are tired of paying corps subsidies of $1.7 billion a day; billions per day for corps who benefited from bail outs; millions a day to big oil while they post record breaking profits; millions per day for the healthcare/food/welfare of low-wage bank/fast food/retail workers because corporations REFUSE to pay their workers a living wage OR provide insurance, yet give billions in bonuses to executives. We the people request, nay DEMAND the federal minimum wage be raised to a standard that is on par with the costs of living, healthcare, and food. we demand the government stand up for the citizens it claims to represent. We demand a federal minimum wage of $15/hr
