Everyday people are denied basic rights provided to all others under the law, simply because they are of a different sexual orientation.
This administration needs to end this closed minded practice of discrimination against the LGBT community, by repealing a bill which singles out marriage as a union between a man and a woman. As we have seen in several courageous states that definition is far from the truth, marriage in no way is limited to the federal definition. Marriage will not have its sanctity ruined by the love between two people of the same gender. With all of this in mind it is high time to recognize the rights of this minority group.
