Cutting waste in government spending is a good thing. Whereas it is true that people need jobs, using taxpayer money to pay high wages to people for non-work is not the solution. Stand strong on budget proposals to cut waste in defense programs, including the MOX program. A better way to create jobs is to increase the minimum wage to increase demand for goods and services. That will create meaningful jobs.
