Stand firm on protecting Social Security and Medicare programs during debt ceiling negotiations.

Created by J.N. on December 13, 2012

We the undersigned, request that President Obama refuse to jeopardize, in any way, the benefits provided by our nation's safety nets, during any debt ceiling negotiations. We request that the President stand firm with the majority of Americans who don't want cuts to these programs, and allow legislators to do what they may, should a rational agreement not be brokered under such endeavors. Americans have a long standing protocol of refusing to negotiate with terrorists, and we intend to keep it that way.
