Stand For Freedom of Speech (Je suis Charlie Hebdo)

Created by L.H. on January 07, 2015

We request that the President call all newspapers and media in the western world to reprint uncensored Charlie Hebdo's Muhammad cartoon. Today's events in France show that even today freedom of speech faces grave threats around the world. In 1778, the French stood with our founders to fight for our freedom. Today, in 2015, we must stand in solidarity with the French to protect theirs. We must demonstrate that we are unafraid to speak even under the threat of death by those who want to silence us. As the owner of a news site, I, and I am sure many members of the press around the world, stand ready to defy these would-be tyrants. Please support for our right to be unafraid to speak and call for the uncensored re-publication of the cartoon.

Sincerely,
