Don't let the GOP take the country hostage, once again, for the sake of the 1%. This is not a "cliff", no matter how much they want to make it sound like a do-or-die scenario. Let the big-money Republican backers sweat a little, and I bet they will be willing to deal. Until then, as Paul Krugman says, "No deal is better than a bad deal."
