It is time for America to stand up for its soldiers. Our politicians want to use the recession as an excuse to steal the retirement that our soldiers have earned by risking their very lives. How can we forget the peril they endure or the sacrifice they make for our country? We owe them our deepest debt of gratitude. Now is our chance to fight for them, and they need us more than ever!
This proposed change to the military retirement package is an insult to our soldiers and a violation of the trust they place in us.If Congress wants to balance the budget by cutting pensions, let them cut their own before cutting ours. At least we earn them! America, stand up! Fight for our soldiers! We finally have an opportunity to show them how much we appreciate their sacrifice. We can't let them down!
