Various studies have proved the efficacy of medical marijuana usage for a number of diseases and ailments. It is a waste of our very limited and valuable financial resources to continue to pursue and prosecute those who are engaged in legal state enterprises approved by a majority of their citizens.
This country is falling apart economically and morally. The government needs to accept the fact that the War on Drugs has failed, just like the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and stop using an iron fist to go after legal state enterprises that harm no one.
