standardize emergency responders' light bar colors across the United States.

Created by N.L. on January 25, 2014

Emergency responders' light bars are not standardized across the nation. Some states use all blue lights for police; some use red and blue; some use only red. Some states use blue and red lights for fire trucks while some use only red. Some states use blue and red for ambulances while some use only red. There are also various combinations of red, blue, white, and amber. To remove confusion, please standardize emergency responders' light bars so they are the same across the nation in every state and city. School bus colors are standardized. Emergency responders' light bars should also be. To easily distinguish the responder from a distance or at night, all police light bars should be blue; all fire bars should be red; all ambulance bars should be red and white. Thank you.
