Within the DOD, each branch applies their own practices, principles and applications to support their logistical needs. The Marine Corps has made exceptional leaps with their oracle-based system.
The DOD needs to enforce standardization of all DOD organizations to utilize the same program, and the Marine Corps has the best program.
With all organizations in the DOD using the same program, same principles, and same transactions, the entire supply chain for all logistics within the DOD would be of a higher caliber than any civilian organization in the world.
