They do not understand how STD's are contracted or how a woman gets pregnant. This leads to many unplanned pregnancies and misconceptions on how to prevent getting an STD. With standardized and accurate sex education in our schools we can help prevent the spread of STD's, lower the rate of teen pregnancy and unplanned pregnancies overall.
