Standardize, simplify and LIMIT the defenition of "Small Business" to accurately reflect the amount of profit they make.

The term Small Business varies significantly. In some cases it denotes companies that have fewer then 50 employees. However, for some corporations, say for the gun manufacturing industry, the qualifying number is fewer then 1500 employees. Why the distinction? However, for some companies, including many financial institutions, the number of employees is irrelevant. In these cases, it is a financial determination. Some companies with assets of $175,000,000.00 or less are considered a small business. Really? This is misleading and has been used to confuse many into supporting those who support extremely large, "Small Businesses", legislatively.
