"Staple" green cards for students graduating from US universities with advanced diplomas (PhD/Masters) in the STEM field

Created by C.B. on July 03, 2014

There are approximately 40 million legal immigrants in this country whose voices are being overshadowed by the illegal immigration debate and are not being heard. Part of these are students who have graduated from US high schools and universities and are working, paying taxes and living legally in this country. The current employment based immigration process is broken. It is tearing families apart, leaving them in a limbo for 10-30 years of their earning lives. Providing green cards to students with advanced STEM degrees will promote economic growth as they continue to work hard, start businesses, pay taxes and be contributing members of this society.
