Start all High schools times at 8:00 a.m or later.

Created by D.H. on November 11, 2016

This will give teens the chance to actually wake up in the morning and hope to have a good night sleep. More teens will end up being motivated to come to school, and their grades may increase. By starting school at eight it may decrease the amount of absences and drop outs. According to the CDC, if we start school later it will help you perform better in school and decrease the chances of depression and being over weight. The start of school at seven may increase sleep deprivation, mental lapses, and a decrease in any sport activities and events.
