We wish to ask the President to campaign for and support the process of repealing the Second Amendment. The Second Amendment needlessly federalizes and nationalizes a firearms regime; as a result, the constitutional jurisprudence in rural Montana is the same as that in urban Chicago when it comes to firearms.
This is not a one-size-fits-all issue. The states should be able to craft their own protections and requirements, in a way that will better serve their needs. This requires repeal of the Second Amendment.
