Start building desalinization plants along both coasts to fight the coming droughts we will face with global warming.

Created by S.C. on January 19, 2013

The United States should invest in Desalinization technology and build desalinization plants on both coasts and the gulf coast to re-fill the aquifers and to combat the coming droughts that will occur due to global warming. These plants can be powered by solar and wind facilities. The current technology is sound. This investnment is as critical as national defense. The increased warming of the planet will cause an increase in demand for water. We must have water for our agriculture as well as a basic need for life. If the United States will look to the long term on this issue we can stave off the coming water disaster that we will face in the next 100 years and leave a green legacy for our children and our future. We will use solar and wind technology to power these plants creating jobs.
