The current trend of increased tourism in DC does not appear to be sustainable. The museums are overcrowded and unpleasant to visit due to too many people in them. Charging admission would reduce the visitors to those who truly want to see the museum and make the experience for them more pleasurable. The revenue gained from admission fees would also help reduce our national deficit/debt.
