Start a committee to name the moon. As the only other celestial body with human footprints a bland name is not adequate.

Created by N.W. on February 25, 2015

Why doesn't our Moon have a name other than "the moon"? All these other planet's moons have cool names, even Pluto's moon is named! All of them with great names with deep meanings; but not ours. The only other celestial body with human footprints on it, and it doesn't even have a name. After some research it comes to light that we only call our moon "The Moon" is because it was simply the only moon humans knew existed. When other moons were discovered they were given names accordingly. In the near future humans will begin to explore space and having a name other than "The Moon" to describe our moon will be a step toward clarity in the universe.
