We need a Constitutional Amendment that will limit the terms of those serving us on the Hill. The maximum should be 3 terms for Congress and 2 terms for the Senate. It would lead to much less corruption, lobbyists would find themselves not able to buy those who have been elected to serve those who have elected them. Senators and Congressmen from both parties have become too powerful.
We need people who will actually sit down and work and pass laws that will deal with the many problems this country faces. Like the DEBT!!!! The old timers seem to think we can wish away the debt. Taxing the rich wont solve it. If they have shorter terms, they might actually do the work they were elected to do.
