We need to start cracking down on service providers charging us for less and for lying blatantly to our faces. There needs to be some sort of government involvement to actually help the people get a better deal from ISP/Mobile providers such as Comcast, Time Warner, Verizon, etc...
They charge you for less internet than what you got when the internet was PREMATURE. It's matured. There's technology in place. There's no such thing as network congestion, and yet, they advertise data caps to charge more for less internet use.
It's stifling innovation and deters users from the internet which is a huge tool that we need in our lives. We don't buy 500 hours of electricity and pay $30/hour after. We don't buy 200 gallons of water and pay $$/hour after.
We need a better internet. Help us.
