As a recently laid off worked. I still need pay my rent, feed my family and live. But it's not only difficult but impossible to do that depending on Unemployment compensation by the States, especially here in Florida. Plus I hate it.
So I am proposing the creation of a Federal Insurance program that will let workers insure their salary while they are employed and eliminate the the need for the unemployed to apply for compensation from the government.
For EXAMPLE:
A worker who makes $75,000 per year could protect their annual income Salary Protection Program by enrolling into the program to insure their entire salary for maybe $50 per month. Or maybe $30 per month to insure half of the amount of their annual income. This will generate enormous income for the Federal government as well.
