Eventually, Earth will run out of resources. And it won't be long. Were already running low on gold and oil. It may not be in our lifetimes, but in the near future, Earthen minerals will completely run out and then what will we do? We should get a jump start and send out a satellite equipped with a drill and retrieval mechanism. It will travel to neighboring planets and moons, gather minerals and precious recourses, and bring them back home to use in building and such.
