start enforcing the Sherman Anti-trust act. Corporations are getting too large, and becoming monopolistic.

Created by A.S. on October 26, 2011

We have reached a point in time, where single corporations own multiple newspapers and tv stations in the same markets. We have reached a time when corporations are too big, and they are driving out competition within the market. For example, GE owns NBC, and many other tv stations all over the country. They are in the healthcare industry. When corporations get this ubiquitous, we end up receiving our news from the same people that may have an interest in the story that is being presented. There are many more corporate examples, such as Bank of America. This cannot continue to happen, these corporations should be busted up using anti-trust legislation.
