Start a FEDERAL GAS RETAIL chain that sells gas for $2.00 a gallon and attach price increases to economic performance.

Created by B.U. on November 12, 2012

Fuel prices are an issue of National Importance. If the government sold quality fuel for these prices it would affect the entire marketplace and industry. Instead of a family purchasing 2 packs of hamburger, for example, they would purchase 3 or 4 as the hamburger would become cheaper, which would require industry to respond by hiring more employees.I believe the entire economy would turn around on a dime. People would still be able to purchase fuel from Shell or Chevron at $5.00 a gallon if they'd like to, but FEDERAL GAS SUPERCENTERS would provide them the option to purchase fuel for $2.00 a gallon. So I believe the government should buy oil, refine it, and provide security at such retail centers to prevent attacks against civillians by the fuel retail industry tycoons.
