We should have nationwide referendums twice a year to vote on issues that congress will NEVER address. Some examples that would be ideal for a nationwide referendum would be:
"Should corporations be treated as people?"
"Should congressmen and women be subject to a term limit?"
"Campaign Reform"
and "Line Item Veto".
These issues and many others are very important to the future of our nation. Congress is so corrupt and useless, they have proven time and time again that if comes to as choice between what's good for the country or what's good for them or their party they will go with their own interest every time. Please let us return the power to the people.
