Start having President Obama do weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly fireside chats, ala FDR on whatever media will carry them.

I think it would be a generally great idea for Obama to give a weekly address in a similar vein to FDR's fireside chats. I think that this is the only way to combat the right wing's PR machine and get the public on the right side of the issues we face as a nation. I think that if he were to speak to the public in an honest, frank, and understandable way, that the public will end up on the right side of these issues. I realize he already gives a weekly address, but I think that it could really use some work, and perhaps a gimmick to get it carried by more forms of media. Redoing FDR's fireside chat may be just the gimmick to get his message to the public en masse.
