We the people ask that legal proceedings be started to hold the management of A&E accountable for violating Title VII of the civil rights act of 1964 which states:
"It shall be an unlawful employment practice for an employer --
(1) To fail or refuse to hire or to discharge any individual, or otherwise to discriminate against any individual with respect to his compensation, terms, conditions, or privileges of employment, because of such individual's race, color, religion, sex, or national origin"
We the people believe that Phil Robertson statements were of his own personal religious beliefs and did not advocate violence toward any persons and therefor protected speech and falls under the protection of Title VII, which by suspending Phil A&E violated.
