Canada has just recently created plastic polymer money that is near impossible to replicate, holds up against time and damage, and is easily recyclable. America should jump on the band wagon to move to a more secure source of money. It could help cut the use of debit cards which would stop the strain on banks to constantly transfer funds between accounts and businesses. It could create jobs (if even for a short period of time), and it would stop counterfeiters from stalling the economy and flooding certain markets with falsified bills that can ultimately hurt and cause inflation in our economy.
