Light Up the Night initiative:
To make it legal to run colored auxiliary lights on motorcycles, scooters and mopeds as a safety feature.
As a biker I have started to see an increase in two wheeled vehicle accidents and deaths due to "not being seen" at night and was thinking we need a way to make them more noticeable. While I understand colored lights are considered a distraction at the moment, but I'm a firm believer if people are noticing the lights then they are noticing the motorcycle, scooter or moped.
With this petition take into consideratiion the legality of colored auxiliary lighting while in motion and a heightened awareness of motorcycles, scooters and mopeds on our nations streets and highways.
