Start looking into and opening debate on basic income for all US citizens

Created by P.K. on February 08, 2015

The constitution states that all Americans have a right to life. In these times of economic uncertainty many Americans struggle or even simply can't afford the basic needs such as shelter, food, and clothing. Many Americans work 40 hours or more a week just to see their pay checks vanish so they can simply survive. Many Americans work jobs were they can't even get 40 hours a week making nearly impossible to provide themselves and their families the means to survive. Many American work jobs they detest so they can afford these basic needs, reducing productivity and lowering what the individual can truly offer to society. In these times where technology is flourishing and making human labor more obsolete, we need more people's creativity, ingenuity, and people following their passions
