Maned Missions are part of America's history in space. Think of Buzz Aldrin, or Armstrong. The lack of maned missions is putting the US behind other nations in scientific matters, and from science comes technology and from that comes economic power in the future. In the words of Neil deGrasse Tyson, "We have stopped Dreaming". Lets start dreaming of travelling through space by doing so.
