Rape-aXe is a female condom and an anti-rape devise used to prevent, deter, or curtail vaginal rape. Rape-aXe is a latex sheath with inward facing barbs. After insertion the attacker would snag on the barbs causing excruciating pain, giving the victim time to escape. The sheath would stay on the attacker, only being removed by brute force or surgery. Brute force causing severe genital mutilation, surgery causing the alert of authorities and the arrest of the attacker. The Rape-aXe would like most condoms prevent pregnancy, HIV, and STI's. Rape-aXe was invented by Sonnet Ehlers, a South African woman. After the unavailing of Rape-aXe in '05, production was unofficially set for '07. Critics have objected the sale of Rape-aXe for being "horrible." By doing this you're showing pity to rapists.
