Start protecting the average consumer from CURRENT unfair and predatory credit collection practices

Working class American consumers are being Currently mistreated by American businesses. Although they are aware that the entire country is struggling with unemployment, layoffs, lower-wages, and higher medical, food and fuel costs, they are gouging consumers with excessive fees, exorbitant late charges, and abusive collection practices. They are seizing personal property for only one-month late payment on personal items and increasing amounts/fees and by exorbitant and excessive amounts to reinstate those possessions and services. They are increasing cost for half the products. Some meat prices may be down, but so is the quantity of meat in each package. Repossession companies are "breaching the peace" and coming onto homeowners private properties and hostilely removing items. STOP them!
