start removing trivial outdated laws starting with the copyright protection of the song "Happy Birthday to you".

Created by P.V. on March 08, 2015

It is reportedly the most sang song in the world. Absolutely mandatory at birthday parties, I am of course talking about the song, happy birthday to you. This song is said to be based on a song written by the Hill sisters about 122 years ago, Good Morning To all. And somehow still under copyright? For which even the Girl scouts were sued because they sang it at meetings? It’s making the rounds on the internet, and frankly making Americans look foolish. We the undersigned believe that it is high time our elected representatives review our laws and start removing outdated trivial laws, starting with the copyright protection of an American standard, Happy Birthday To you.
